They've got their own very special set of magic skills.
Our cats, for example, are making it a habit to walk through walls. Or closed doors, maybe. No matter how often I herd them into the livingroom before we leave for the office in the morning, chances are upon returning I will find at least one of them in another room. On my rocking chair, for example, or sleeping on a pile of clean clothes. Sometimes they take turns visiting my wardrobe, to lend a "feline touch" (AKA cat hair) to my brand-new cardigan.
Occasionally I will find one of them in a closed wardrobe. In a room they should not be in to begin with. Imagine this, you open the door and are face-to-face with a fluff ball looking at you as if to say, "I did not invite you. What are you doing here?"
At least they are too stupid to use their powers for the greater good (or, more likely, evil). How long before I find one of them squished into an unopened tin of cat food? ^^

LOL - have they developed invisible opposable thumbs, so they can turn doorknobs? :D
That is too cute... I can imagine you opening a can of cat food, and 2 huge, yellow eyes peering up at you innocently.
Yes don't they? Though mine have a tendency to get closed in somewhere and be upset that they can't get out. Often its stuck in a room that has a baby gate on it like the kitchen or one of the kids bedrooms. Somehow they get in but I think their powers are only one way.
LOL!! Yeah, they are pretty magickal, aren't they? But, that's okay, it makes life a lot more interesting don't ya think so??

what's even more amazing is how a silent whisper of movement can morph into a thundering herd of elephants...
