I need a good witchy calendar to put up on my wall. Something that shows the whole year at one, with moon phases and such. We all know that certain spells and rituals work way better at some times than at others, but usually I am so unorganized that I miss full and dark moons, the wheel of the year, Fridays, ...
I think I will simply get one of those big poster calendars and put all necessary information in there myself, with stickers and all kinds of colored pencils. Things I want to put on it include:
* Full moons
* Dark moons
* The sabbaths
What else should I put in there?
Over time, I am sure, that thing will morph into something strange and living, because I plan on adding all kinds of information on weekdays and such. If this project really becomes reality, there will be progress pictures. Maybe I can have a complete witchy calendar wall?

Usually, I do the Llewellyn wall calendars. But a single, big calender of the entire year would be a great idea! It would make planning so much easier, because then we could see an entire year, instead of having to flip through a month at a time.
They make some really pretty nature-based year-view wall calendars, though I've yet to find anything specifically Pagan. Now I'll be on the look-out. ;)
Oh, I know what you mean. I looked at the calendars and almanacs at a store the other day, but they usually have more than what I want. I don't want articles, just a calendar. Ideally, I'd like it in a smaller format, like a datebook.
Maybe I'll make one of my own as well.
I like to know the full moons, the new moons and I like to know what sign the moon is in on any given day.
I use this moon calender

It shows the moon cycles with astrological information as well as eclipses. I track my period and my migraines on here also.
Thanks for sharing your input!
A calendar wall!! Great idea...just paint it white and add the squares...then each year, you just need to change the dates...
Hi Diandra
I have made a few such almanacs over the years. I don't have one in use at the moment but I really enjoyed designing, making and using them. The best advice I could give you is to put it all in a circle, a real Wheel of the Year, rather than a square calendar format, especially as it sounds as though you have plenty of room to make it big enough to include all the information you want. It just takes a little shift in your way of thinking to make it work, then it's fabulous to use.
I have a post on my Wiccan blog listing the Full Moons and Sabbats for 2012 if that helps you at all?
Kim
