Last day of vacation and a full moon

- we all know that this is exactly the combination to make me very busy. I've got stuff I promised to read, things I want to get out of the way before I have to be back at the office, and am meeting a friend tonight for sushi (she is tricking me into translating some Japanese comics for her so she can use them for her thesis). There is bread in the oven, the laundry machine is doing its little happy dance, the dishwasher has its own opinion on my work moral - and I definitely should get the cats for that seasonal greetings photoshoot I have planned. Plus there are tons of stuff I promised to read and have an opinion, and people are waiting for letters... oh, and did I mention we need to decide on cookies to make with the BF'S family? Aaaaand I want to make cheese cupcakes for the office, as a "Look at me, I am older!" treat (I am using these and adding some strawberry and pumpkin swirls instead of the raspberries - trust me, this is the perfect recipe.)

The picture above was taken yesterday morning, on what I knew would be my last long walk for this vacation. We are truly living in fairytale country - I did nothing to the picture, and I am the proverbial luser when it comes to cameras (the BF is a great photographer and is constantly trying to teach me new tricks, but I am happy using the pre-programmed settings).

Time to get busy! Some reading, some cleaning, some groceries, some baking, some more reading, some pictures, ... - you get the idea. I've got 5:30 hours left before I've got to catch the bus to sushiland!
