Weekend is over - finally!

I really loved spending time with my family, but I am glad it is over for the moment. After putting most stuff back in its place, I am lying on the couch with the notebook and a blanket and trying to not think.

At least I got to celebrate my birthday on the playground, and that is really cool - even at 29! Sorry that there are no pictures, but some of my friends and family are picky about being shown online, and I try to respect that. Having said this, I will pester the BF as to whether he got any pictures of me being silly - that's something I am not afraid to show you. And let me tell you, the dress I wore was a little too short for going down the slide, I've got "slide burn"! (TMI? Think of fluffy bunnies instead. ^^ ) Boy, we definitely were all out of plates and chairs at some point today! To think that the BF had made fun of me before for having fancy china for 12 people... we really do need that!

Weird thing is that I did not get any books this year. There was chocolate and sparkly wine and music and pictures and socks, and the BF got me a balance board for my WII and the "WII fit", for the winter days. He is such a great guy! My niece sensed that, too... she proclaimed she would marry him! (To which he replied, "You'll have to kill Diandra first." Uhm, help??)

I think I'll now close my eyes for a moment and try to find out if I still want to make dinner...
