I may or may not have ranted about having to spend the weekend surrounding New Year's at the BF's mother's place, together with his brother, sister-in-law and nephew. (Don't worry, there won't be another rant.)
The family with child slept in the bedroom on the second floor, where the grandmother had died a few years ago. Or, they tried to sleep there. After the child wailing for several hours, they gave up and drove home for the night.
Of course I could have told them that the year before, I had seen the dead grandmother (whom I had never met while alive) when staying in that room. But every time the BF's mother claims that she shares that room with the deceased, everybody blaims it on her medication. They do already consider me weird enough as it is, mustn't make them think I am a complete loon. ^^
Yet somehow I think that kid may simply have seen a ghost. Have you?

I do believe, and yes...I have seen a ghost!
It is hard in this modern day to talk about ghosts, and things that go bump in the night. You get strange looks, and smirks as you try to tell anyone that will listen that you have seen a "real" ghost. But, I can deal with it because I know that ghosts do really exist, and that children see them more than adults. I saw my ghost when I was a child. I am now in my 60's, but I remember the story like it was yesterday~~~
I've seen many, although I prefer to not call them ghosts. I used to be afraid of them, until I just took the time to learn about them. Dealing with troublesome Spirits isn't a big deal. Often they just want to be acknowledged. As for my deceased family, I have a Ancestral Shrine erected for them (as well as for my Totems and Spirit Animals) and they seem to approve. I hope I can raise our children to not be fearful of Spirits. Blessings. P.S. I love the name of your blog. ~)O(~
Yes, I believe in ghosts, and I used to see them when I was younger. I lived in these apartments by a lake in Georgia and it was like my room was a spirit ground. It was scary at first but I learned to live with them. I love your blog, btw! :)
My story would take up far too much of this space, but for lack of a better description, my 20 yr old son Zen is haunted. I'll do an entry on that, soon.
