You know what this is?
Nope, not the first sign of spring.
This, dear friends, is the first green on MY OWN TINY BALCONY APPLE TREE!!! They are called "dwarf fruit" and are supposed to even carry fruit, and they can be kept in (large) flower pots. I carried it through town yesterday, whispering sweet nonsense to its branches. Greebo likes it, too!

Do keep us apprised of how it grows.. I am a big fan of dwarf varieties of large trees, espeially fruit trees.
